These terms govern your use of WHATCHA at whatchawatchin.fun. WHATCHA is operated by CTRL Gaming Inc., British Columbia, Canada ("we", "us").
Acceptance
By creating an account or using WHATCHA, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use WHATCHA.
What WHATCHA is
WHATCHA is a movie discovery and organization service: it helps you discover movies, keep a watchlist and history, connect with friends, and find where to watch. WHATCHA does not stream, host, sell or rent any movies. Viewing happens on third-party services under their own terms and subscriptions.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create or use a WHATCHA account. By creating an account you confirm that you are 16 or older.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. Provide accurate information and one account per person.
Usernames and profile pictures
Usernames and profile pictures are visible to other members. They must not impersonate others, infringe anyone's rights, or be offensive, hateful, sexual or otherwise inappropriate. You keep ownership of pictures you upload and allow us to store and display them within WHATCHA to provide the service. We may remove content or require a new username that breaks these rules.
Appropriate use
- Don't harass, spam or abuse other members.
- Don't attempt to access other accounts or data, or disrupt the service.
- Only send friend requests to people you want to connect with, and respect members who decline or remove you.
- Don't scrape, copy or resell WHATCHA or its movie data.
Movie information and availability
Movie details, images and streaming availability come from TMDB and JustWatch. Availability changes often and differs by country; it may be incomplete or out of date. Always check current availability, pricing, subscription, rental and purchase requirements directly with the streaming service. Those services are responsible for their own prices, subscriptions and content.
Third-party services
WHATCHA relies on third parties including TMDB, JustWatch, Google sign-in and our hosting provider. We aren't responsible for their content, availability or practices. WHATCHA is not endorsed or certified by TMDB or JustWatch.
Intellectual property
The WHATCHA name, design and software belong to CTRL Gaming Inc.. Movie titles, posters, images and provider logos belong to their respective owners.
Suspension and termination
You can delete your account anytime in Profile → Account → Delete account; see our Privacy Policy for what is deleted. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other members at risk.
Service availability
WHATCHA is provided free of charge. We may change, pause or discontinue features, and we don't promise the service or its movie information will always be complete, current, uninterrupted or error-free.
Disclaimers
WHATCHA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the "Last updated" date, and continued use means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
